A team of seasoned consultants, Message House was founded by Maciej Gajewski who has been contributing to the development of the Polish public relations market since 1991. For ten years Maciej was in charge of media relations at Burson-Marsteller, the global company that played a pivotal role in instilling PR standards in this country. Message House operations are infused with Burson-Marsteller’s traditions and work practices, which with the passage we have modified to adjust to the fast changing media market.

Maciej Gajewski

Managing Director

Involved with the PR sector since 1991, Maciej has co-created and implemented communication activations for many Polish and international brands. He also worked for foreign media reporting on the situation in Poland during the 80s.

Head of the Message House agency since 2001.

In 1991–2001, he was head of Media Relations at Burson-Marsteller, in charge of all contacts with the media for the agency’s clients.

Maciej developed and introduced a code of media relations practices that was followed by Burson-Marsteller during the agency’s almost 10-year presence in Poland, when this global company had a local office in the country. The list of brands he worked for includes: ABB, Boeing, Citibank, Grupa Żywiec, Hortex, ING Bank, Nestlé, Philip Morris, Samsung, Unilever and also such institutions as the European Commission and Business Software Alliance. He was also managing the pro-bono activities that the Message House agency ran for 5 years for ‘All of Poland Reads to Kids’ campaign.

For more than 20 years now, Maciej has co-created and implemented communication activations for the Visa brand in Poland.

Co-author of a book on the history of PR sector in Poland: “The first quarter century. 25 years of public relations in Poland”.

Graduate of Warsaw School of Economics’ Foreign Trade Faculty, and the Department of Journalism at Warsaw University. After his first job for Reuters agency, taken up in 1981, Maciej was a correspondent of the American news agency UPI and then the British titles: The Guardian daily and The European weekly.
