Head of Special Projects

In 1995–1998, Piotr worked for Burson-Marsteller, including (in the last year) as Head of Corporate Practice. He developed and ran PR programmes for clients who included Heineken, KGHM Polska Miedź, Philip Morris, Samsung, Gaspol, ABB, ING Bank and others.

In 1999–2001, Piotr contributed to the creation from scratch of two insurance companies, the pension and the life-assurance arms of the UK’s Norwich Union (which towards the end of 2000 were taken over by the Finnish group Sampo). He was Head of Corporate Affairs at both of these firms, responsible for PR strategy development and implementation, internal communication and crisis management, while also substantially contributing to the development of the overall marketing strategy (ATL, BTL, corporate identity.)

Since 2001, Piotr has been an independent advisor for clients who include Message House, where he ran projects for Visa, Hortex, Nestle, Fitch Rating, GE Money Bank and many others. He moderates discussion sessions (e.g. on social dialogue, according to AA1000 standard), conducts training courses (media, public speaking) and runs special projects, always fine-tuned to the client’s particular set of requirements.

Piotr sits on the jury of Złote Spinacze [Golden Paperclips], the largest and oldest public relations competition in Poland.

Graduate of MBA studies at the Norwegian School of Management; previously studied at Warsaw University’s Department of Applied Linguistics.
